08/21/04 Welcome Letter "Volunteers don't get paid for their work, not because it's worthless, but because it's PRICELESS." Welcome to the Web Site. My name is Teresa Hays,and I am a member of the 1438th FSG. My Role is listed under the member page. This web site was donated by the sister of a nurse I work with at DePaul Hospital as her way of supporting our troops. This is our web site so please feel free to send stories,pictures,news, etc so that I can post it. This will be a great way for our soldiers to see what their families and friends have been up to while they are away. We have a lot of exciting things planned and can use your help. First I need to be able to contact you, so send addresses,phone #'s,e-mails if you have not already done so.We would like to plan a meeting sometime in Oct or Nov to plan a Christmas Party. The American Legion in Warrenton has offered to supply Gifts for the kids and they will video tape it to send to the soldiers. Please check the site often as I will be making changes and additions regularly. I would like to spotlight several people each month also. So send your biographies!! Next I am listing several people that have called and offered help,that have helped in one way or another. Remember, I am human-I would not like to leave any one out intentionally so if I did I'm sorry and please let me know. I want the soldiers to see your names on the site.
